Request

Staples (Europe) had low recognition, without a distinct brand identity or personality. Time for a rebrand.

Response

The Staples speech bubble was born. A simple yet effective design that allows Staples to join the conversation.  

Result

The new creative identity was rolled out across 21 countries and now binds all Staples communication. From POS to storefronts and print, to online and social, all of Staples marketing materials were adapted.

Simple but own-able, the hook from the ‘L’ of the Staples logo was extended to create the speech bubble.

Now, their shipping boxes announce their arrival and their business cards introduce themselves.
